We are a church that loves God and loves people. We’re dedicated to helping people connect with God and connect with their destiny.
We believe church should be welcoming, accessible and relevant. Somewhere you can feel at home, whatever your situation or circumstances. Somewhere you can build relationship with God and with others.
We also believe our church is called to make a difference in our world – and that it is through the church that God reaches out to the world with grace, hope, truth and love.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
As a group of people we are committed to making Jesus famous and creating a welcoming, safe environment where people can ask questions and discover Jesus for themselves.
About Our Church
As a local church our vision is clear: The Salvation of our City.
This vision shapes everything we do, every programme we run, every service we hold, it’s all about seeing the people of Norwich and Ipswich connect with Jesus.
The culture of our church, the way in which we do things, is no accident but flows from our passion for God and His kingdom. It is our desire to intentionally and deliberately create a culture that reflects the Kingdom of God.
Most Christian churches share common goals and key points of theology, but from that point on, diversity becomes the order of the day. What is it that makes one church different from another? Our understanding is it’s the culture of the church – the DNA – it’s what produces “flavour” in churches.
This awesome church we see is shaped by values that guide us and inspire us. We affirm that values create culture and we are clear about what we value.
This list of distinguishing values will help our church to gain a clear focus on common objectives, better communication and teamwork. Clearly articulated values help a church to gain a sense of purpose.

The Hillsong Family
In 2014 we were invited by Pastor Brian Houston, the founding pastor of Hillsong Church, to become part of the Hillsong family of churches. The invitation acknowledges the decade’s long relationship between us and the strong relationship between Proclaimers and Hillsong in Australia and of course with our good friends Pastors Gary and Cathy Clarke at Hillsong Church, London.
This closer level of relationship and identification with Hillsong is something that we are truly honoured by. We remain an autonomous church but in an accountable relationship with Hillsong. They are a church that have made a huge impact across the globe through their passionate commitment to reaching people, and in placing value upon the local church.
To be a part of such a unique group of churches across the globe is a great privilege.
