About Jesus Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.

As a group of people we are committed to making Jesus famous and creating a welcoming, safe environment where people can ask questions and discover Jesus for themselves.

Maybe you’ve heard about Jesus before, maybe you don’t know anything about Him, perhaps you’ve been going to church for years – whatever your understanding or knowledge we want to help you find out more about who Jesus was, what the purpose of His life was, and what that means for you today.

Here is what the Bible has to say about Jesus:

Phillipians 2: 5-11 (NIV)

5 In your relationships with one another, have the same mindset as Christ Jesus: 6 Who, being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be used to His own advantage; 7 rather, He made himself nothing by taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. 8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled himself by becoming obedient to death— even death on a cross!

9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 and every tongue acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Hebrews 1: 2-4 (NLT)

2 And now in these final days, He has spoken to us through his Son. God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son He created the universe. 3 The Son radiates God’s own glory and expresses the very character of God, and He sustains everything by the mighty power of his command. When he had cleansed us from our sins, He sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God in heaven. 4 This shows that the Son is far greater than the angels, just as the name God gave Him is greater than their names.
