The awesome church we see is shaped by values that guide us and inspire us.
The church we see is created as we represent clearly our purposes and ideals. We believe that values contribute to culture and we are clear about what we value. This list of distinguishing values helps our church to gain a clear focus on common objectives, guiding good communication and teamwork, pushing us forward toward our purpose.
We pray and believe that these values will be carried by all who call Proclaimers home; and that these values will influence our daily decisions, fostering both commitment and involvement.

To fulfil our mission in the world I see a miracle. This miracle is the church I see.

The church I see is dynamic; marked by creative energy and innovation boldly committed to impacting thousands of people with a message of grace and hope. The church I see is motivated by the greatest cause of all – the Cause of our Lord Jesus Christ.
The church I see is accessible and inclusive; a church that embraces “whosoever”. The church I see is a church that beckons ‘WELCOME HOME’ to every man, woman and child that walks through its open doors. The church I see is positive and upbeat reaching people at every level of society.
I see a church whose head is Jesus, whose help is the Holy Spirit and whose focus is the great commission! I see a large and significant church that burns with a passion for God; calling people into relationship with Jesus Christ.
I see a vibrant church that is faithful in communicating the message of the Bible in a way that is up to date, relevant and easy to understand. I see an innovative, creative church filled with pioneers, groundbreakers and inventive people who will stir the hearts and minds of a generation inspiring people to fulfil their destiny in the world around them.
I see an accessible church that is committed to reaching our generation providing them with a helpful source of meaningful direction and service. The church I see teaches and empowers people to live confident and authentic lives in Jesus Christ.
I see a church that serves our community and beyond with the belief that what grows out of our church will have significant implications around the world.
The church I see is a church so dependent on Jesus, so reliant on the Holy Spirit that
nothing will stop it nor stand against it.
I see a people loving one another, unified, praying together and full of God’s Spirit. I see a church where miracles happen and God is real. I see a church where people’s lives are rebuilt, transformed and restored by the message of God’s grace.
The church I see is a church of renowned character and integrity; a place where friendships are important and last for decades, marriages that last “until death do us part” and a love for God that goes straight on into eternity!
The church I see is no ordinary church – but as we partner with Jesus Christ I see an astonishing and remarkable church with its highest priority to worship God and enjoy Him forever.
The church I see could very well be Proclaimers; a church for this generation and the next!
Every organisation has a culture – a way of doing things – an ethos, atmosphere and spirit.
What is it that makes one church (or organisation) different from another?
Our understanding is it’s the culture of the church – the DNA – it’s what produces “flavour” in churches.
Culture can either be driven by design or can happen by default.
The culture of our church is no accident – it flows from our passion for God and His Kingdom. It is our desire to intentionally and deliberately create a culture that reflects the Kingdom of God; and our culture is formed around five key points chosen to reflect this.
Our culture Points
- Motivated by the Casue of Christ
- Learning to Flow Together
- The Pursuit of Excellence
We believe the Bible is God’s Word. It is inspired, infallible, accurate, authoritative and applicable to our everyday lives.
We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving and completely holy.
We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and His purpose for our lives.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ as both God and man is the only One who can reconcile us to God. He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove His victory and empower us for life.
We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the ‘new birth’ we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to His will for our lives.
We believe that in order to live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit enables us to use spiritual gifts, including speaking in tongues, which is the initial evidence of baptism in the Holy Spirit.
We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives that is to worship God, fulfil our role in the Church and serve the com- munity in which we live.
We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.
We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as He promised.
